Infragistics is a decent component set. They're innovative and tend to have a clean API.
The biggest problem is the cost - their component suite costs an arm and a leg - otherwise I'd use them more.

DevExpress has a very flakey API - but they are a young company. It'll be interesting to see how their products develop over the years.

Hmm, you recommended Infragistics somewhere? I got dragged into using DevExpress on a project. Ugh. I'd rather use Qt :)

Long time no chat my friend. Logd has been passed down to the community and we're in need of some experienced coders to push the core distro forward, especially in terms of ajax and such. just throwing it out there for you, good to see you're still alive and well.

Dasher,

I just read your blog and I have to say it's very impressive.

I would like to draw you attention to a .NET code protection tool my company is developing – it is called 'CliSecure'.

CliSecure is a .NET obfuscator and code protector that offers protection against reverse engineering of your code. This tool implements a unique code protection technology that blocks attackers from utilizing advanced code tampering techniques such as dumping assembly contents from in-memory.

I would appreciate if you will recommend this tool to your blog readers as you have already did for 'Infragistics'.

Your thoughts?

Regards,

Michael.
